Camperall – Fall Camping

Event: Camperall
Where: Woodruff Scout Camp
When: Oct 7, 2022 7:30pm to Oct 9, 2022 9am (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Foothills District Camporall 2022
Arrow of Light Scouts are invited to come attend a weekend campout with Troop 2319 at the beautiful Woodruff Scout Camp!

Friday Arrival: Troop 2319 will arrive to the campsite around 7:30/8pm, but we will have a few adults there to greet you by 6pm if you would like to arrive a bit earlier. Please do not arrive
before 6pm if at all possible. Please check in with the troop leaders upon arrival for tent
set-up location.

Sunday Departure: The event will conclude around 9 am on Sunday, October 9th, 2022.

Food:
The Scout Troop will provide all the cooking equipment and food. If you choose to bring
snacks, please make sure they are single serving, peanut-free & well sealed so that we
don’t have any critters visiting at night. NO FOOD or DRINKS in tents. Please note: All
scouts are to take care of their own dinner Friday evening prior to arrival at camp.

Tenting: Due to Covid 19 our Troop 2319 scouts have the option of tenting alone or with a sibling
but may tent with a tent buddy that MUST be within 2 year of their age if families are
comfortable with that. (Normally our youngest scouts would always have a tent buddy).
While this event is NOT family camping and would ideally be a time for AOL scouts to tent
as if they were in a troop (with a tent buddy their age), we understand if not all families are
comfortable with AOL scouts tenting with someone outside their bubble or if AOL scouts
are not comfortable tenting alone quite yet, and they need to buddy up with a parent for
the night. There sometimes isn’t room at Woodruff for extra-large tents, so we recommend
tents no larger than 3-4 person (2-3 person sized tents are ideal). At the troop level, youth
camp in separate tents and separate patrols from adults but within the same campsite.

Youth Protection Training: It is Troop policy that ALL adults attending any campout must complete Youth Protection Training (YPT). This is a 90-minute on-line certification
through Scouting BSA. Camping adults please email your YPT
Certificate to Gretchen Shumpert no later than 9/26.

Medical Forms: Please type, save and print out a current copy of the BSA Medical Forms (Parts A
and B only) for everyone (youth and adults) attending and most importantly BRING
THEM WITH YOU. These forms will travel with your pack and remain in the
campsite with the pack during Camperall this year but will be needed if anyone
needs to visit the Health Lodge. Current BSA medical forms can be found on the
Troop 2319 Website – Troop2319.com under for the parents, then choose forms
and documents.

Face Masks: Please be sure that EVERYONE attending a campout bring at least two facemasks
in the event of a sudden illness or emergency. Adults Must be Fully Vaccinated
for Covid 19 or have a recent negative Covid test. Send a photo of your Covid
Vaccine Card by 9/26/22; Negative Covid tests must be dated between 10/5/22 and
10/7/22.

If you or a family member have tested positive for Covid or are feeling unwell, please stay home from troop activities including campouts!! We eat, camp & interact in close quarters. A scout is Courteous.
